CROSSLAKE CARES:

Connecting Seniors to services that improve their lives.

Helping make the Crosslake area "home for a lifetime"!

HELPING SENIORS

Why Crosslake Cares?

As the baby boomer generation enters the golden years, Minnesotan’s are living longer and healthier lives. In fact, life expectancy has increased to age 81.  Crosslake, MN is home to a population of more than 2,200 and 53% of us are 60 and over while 70% of us are 50 and over.  (Source)

What can we do?

A group of community leaders began meeting to discuss this topic and asked how do we work together to best support this growing segment of our population. A vision was created to enhance, develop and promote opportunities for seniors in the greater Crosslake area.

Crosslake Cares was Born

The group created Crosslake Area Senior Services, Inc, doing business as CROSSLAKE CARES, and is now an operating 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the goal of connecting area seniors to information that helps improve their lives.
