The Alzheimer’s Association and The Log Church are offering Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia, a class to learn about the impact of Alzheimer’s and the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia; stages and risk factors, current research as well as treatments and resources available.  The class goes from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM. Interfaith Volunteers and Crosslake Cares will be holding an  informational session for those interested in becoming a Volunteer Driver for local seniors who need rides to doctors appoints and how to sign up. It will be held at Crosslake Presbyterian Church, 14444 Daggett Pine Road in Crosslake from 9:00 AM to 11:AM. Light refreshments will be offered and no sign up is needed.
