EVENTS DURING SENIOR DAYS

SATURDAY, APRIL 25 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM 

This year's Senior Expo, held at The Log Church in Crosslake, will again feature 50+ organizations offering valuable resources, as well as mini presentations from local experts, prize giveaways, and complimentary coffee and pastries courtesy of Café Cares. Keynote Speaker is WCCO Mike Max, (sponsored by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center.) His presentation on “Never Quit Living Your Best Life” is sure to bring engagement, awe and wonder. His message tells us that if you think you are getting too old to exercise, to find a different career, or pursue a hobby, then think again! He says the most influential people in his life are 75 years plus and still seeking. 

SATURDAY, APRIL 25 at 5:30 - 10:00 PM 

Manhattan Beach Lodge is the host for this year’s Crosslake Cares’ Senior Prom with a Mardi Gras theme! 

The evening begins with appetizers, then dinner and dancing to follow! Dinner will be served from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. Please give your dinner choice when making a reservation. Entrée choices are a) Chicken Marsala with garlic mashed potatoes and mixed seasonal vegetables; b) Braised Beef Tips in a mushroom red wine sauce over garlic mashed potatoes with mixed seasonal vegetables; or c) Ricotta Stuffed Shells with Rose’ Sauce. Dinner includes salad and dessert. Cash bar available for beverage. Tickets are $39 each.

THURSDAY, APRIL 23 at 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Senior Bingo will be held at the 

Crosslake/Fifty Lakes  American Legion 

on Cty Rd 3 in Crosslake. Bring your family and friends for an evening of fun, laughter and friendly competition!  Checkin is at 3:30 PM and games start at 4:00 PM. A packet of 12 cards is $13. Cards will start selling at 3:30 PM and games start at 4:00 PM. (No reservation required).

FRIDAY, APRIL 24 at 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Senior Trivia Night will be held at Moonlite Bay Restaurant on Cty Rd 66 in Crosslake.

Enjoy discounts on food, test your knowledge, and compete for prizes in a lively atmosphere. This event is free for seniors, so bring your friends, enjoy discounted food and drinks and enjoy fun rounds of trivia with 25% of menu items and $1 off drinks. (No reservation required.)

FRIDAY, APRIL 24

On Friday, April 24, join us at Crosslake Lutheran Church for three informative senior-focused presentations. Learn about senior technology from Tremolo Communications, hear exciting updates from the National Loon Center, and gain valuable safety tips during a fire safety presentation by the Crosslake Fire Department. 

SATURDAY, APRIL 25 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM

Please join us for an energetic walk especially for Seniors! Please meet in the parking lot at 7:30 AM at The Log Church, Cty. Route 66. We walk for about 45 minutes to arrive back at The Log Church in time for the Senior Expo. Water and T-shirts will be provided and we will have a Police escort. A golf cart will accompany us during the walk. Please wear walking shoes and dress according to the weather.

SATURDAY, APRIL 25 1:30 PM-3:30 PM 

Depending on the weather we will be either at the outdoor courts at the Crosslake Community Center (14126 Daggett Pine Road) OR indoor courts at the Crosslake Community School (35808 County Road 66). The location will be announced during the morning at the Expo and on the Crosslake Pickleball Facebook page. We will have demonstrations, teach the rules of the game and scoring, and you’ll have opportunities to try your skills with a game or two! Paddles and balls can be provided.

ALL WEEKEND LONG

All weekend long, Seniors will be offered Golf Discounts at:

• Crosswoods Golf Course:  18 holes with cart $39 (reg $49), 9 holes  with cart $29. Advance tee time required  for deal. Book your tee time and enjoy an  early spring round! • Whistling Wolf Mini Golf:  Play both courses $10 (reg $15) Pay at  self serve kiosk
